The Book II cast features Michael Rainey Jr., Mary J. Blige, Method Man, Naturi Naughton, Shane Johnson, Gianni Paolo, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Paige Hurd, and many more.
The show will have ten episodes in each season and is set to be released on 6 September on the Starz official streaming platform, Starzplay.
The showrunner and creator of the show, Courtney A. Kemp has said that viewers can expect to see main characters Tasha, Tariq, “and other favourite characters” on the show.
“We are thrilled to bring the fans the next chapter in the Power universe with Power Book II: Ghost. We know they have been waiting too long to rejoin Tasha and Tariq as he navigates the criminal world and the academic world without ever taking his eyes off the prize: his mother’s freedom” Kemp said.
