N'golo Kante humbly responds to claims that he solely stopped Messi

N’golo Kante’s french team mates would like the World to know that he single handedly stopped Lionel Messi, but the ever humble Kante thinks otherwise.

Upon their return to France, a jubilant Pogba led a chant for the very shy midfielder, “Ohh N’Golo Kanté, ohh N’Golo Kanté… He is short, he is nice, he’s the one, who stopped Leo Messi, but we all know he’s a cheater (at cards), N’Golo Kanté!”

Remember N’golo has already gone viral for being too shy to take a picture with the World Cup

Now, footage has emerged on Matuidi’s instagram live of him saying that he was not solely responsible for stopping Messi, as he called the achievement a team effort.

In the video Matuidi says “Kante, he is small but he stopped Messi,” 

Kante responded humbly: “No, no. We did it together.”
