After deciding that players would not be able to take part in the Asian games, the NBA has had a rethink.
Cleveland Cavaliers player, Jordan Clarkson is expected to play for the Philippines, while Houston Rockets centre Zhou Qi and Dallas Mavericks forward Ding Yanyuhang appear set to play for China.
The event starts Saturday in Indonesia.
