Leonard Norman Wein popularly known as Len Wein died on the 10th of September, 2017. The American comic book writer and editor died at the age of 69.
Famously known for the co-creation of the Swamp Thing, Wolverine, X-men, The Human Target and Justice League, the writer, editor and artist is also known by many other works in line with creation of comic contents and ideas.

He worked at Marvel to write some episodes of popular shows including The Flash, Superman and Dare Devil. When he became editor-in-chief at Marvel in the early 1970s he wrote episodes for The Amazing Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Fantastic Four and many more. He also, along with Dave Cockrum the X-men team and they created Nightcrawler, Storm, Colossus and Thunderbird.
Returning to DC comics late 1970s following a dispute with Marvel as both a writer and an editor, he went straight to work and wrote many Batman scripts and even created Lucius Fox in the Batman movie series, who was the Wayne Foundation executive.
Many artists and writers have since been paying tribute to Wein, who in some way influenced our childhood.
