Check out the most influential person on Twitter with just 13 tweets

Taylor Swift has been named the most influential person on Twitter in 2018.

The singer topped the annual list of Twitter influencers produced by Bandwidth, which uses an array of data to tabulate how much genuine engagement individual accounts were creating by each tweet.

Brandwatch released its annual list of the top 10 most influential women and men on Twitter and Swift had 98%. Topping the list of most influential men, and coming after Swift, is a former member of One Direction band Liam Payne with 97 points.

Payne was closely followed by Donald Trump, Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian West and Demi Lovato, all of whom scored 96 points.

While lots of followers, retweets and replies will help, the more influential the people they engage with, the better the score,” said Gemma Joyce, a data journalist for Brand watch in a blog post.

Swift has only tweeted 13 times in 2018 (not including retweets) and has stopped posting on the service since June 2018.
