Did you know? Tears don't fall in space. Click to find out why

You can do some pretty cool things in space but crying is not one of them.

According to the website, tested, astronaut Chris Hadfield explained that without gravity, tears don’t flow downwards out of the eye and wash away irritants like they do here on Earth. The tears remain in the eyes and conglomerate into a little ball of liquid that hangs out in the eye.

When those space tears build up enough liquid mass, they’ll actually break free of the eye and float around. Perhaps we could tag it as a non-conventional way of crying.

As for me, I’m not sure whether that’s cool or scary.
