Zen is CNN TV host Nick Cannon youngest child who died due to brain cancer. Although he has six other children, the death of a child, no matter how young, hurts a lot. Cannon confessed that Zen’s death was tough on him.

His father, Nicholas Scott Cannon, was born on 8 October 1980. He is an American TV host, actor, comedian, and rapper. Cannon became famous during his teenage days. He started on All That, after which he hosted Wild’ n Out, The Masked Singer, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, The Nick Cannon Show, and America’s Got Talent. Nick Cannon Career

Nick started a rap career in 2003 when he released Gigolo, a self-titled album alongside famous singer R. Kelly. Nick said he noticed his baby started having breathing issues when he was two months, which he ignored, thinking it was just a minor thing with newborns. Until Nick took the child to the hospital, the doctors diagnosed Zen with a Hydrocephalus brain tumour. 

Nick also mentioned that he took Zen for surgery immediately, and after several procedures and surgeries, the tumour grew more prominent and faster. He also spent quality time with his son, and he referred to it as a “beautiful setting.”Hydrocephalus accumulates excess fluid in the brain, making some babies’ heads bigger than expected. Lab scientists can diagnose this disease during an ultrasound scan.

He mentioned that he always spends time with his family over the weekend so that within the week, he can focus on his show and other businesses. After disclosing the death of his son on air, lots of people asked why he was in the studio and not with his family grieving, and he responded, “To me, this doesn’t work. This is love.” He said returning to work was therapeutic for him.
