Gabrielle Anwar is an English-American actress born on 4 February 1970, and best known for her roles as Sam Black in the second season of “Press Gang”, Margaret Tudor on “The Tudors”, Fiona Glenanne on “Burn Notice”, Lady Tremaine in the seventh season of “Once Upon a Time”, and for dancing the tango with Al Pacino in “Scent of a Woman”. Aside from these, Anwar has acted in a great deal of other TV series and films.

Early life and education
Anwar was born in Laleham, Surrey. Her mother, Shirley Hills, is an actress, and her father, Tariq Anwar, is a film producer and editor. Her paternal grandmother was an Austrian Jew, while her paternal grandfather was an Indian Muslim. From 1975 to 1982, Gabrielle went to Laleham C of Middle School. An end-of-term St. Trinian’s sketch in the school concert of 1982 gave an early indication of her theatrical potentials. Anwar later completed a course in dance and theatre in London at the Italia Conti Academy of Theater Arts.
