Cardi B gets 10 nods for the 2018 MTV Music Video Awards

MTV’s annual 2018 Video Music Awards nominees were announced on Monday via IGTV on Instagram.

To no one’s surprise, Cardi B leads the pack with 10 nominations in gender-neutral categories including video of the year – Finesse with Bruno Mars; song of the year -Finesse; artist of the year, and best new artist.

For video of the year category, Cardi will be up against Ariana Grande – No Tears Left to Cry, Camila Cabello ft. Young Thug – Havana, Childish Gambino – This Is America, Drake -God’s Plan, and The Carters – Apeshit.
