Finally, Meghan Markle and Beyonce have met.
The occasion was the London premiere of the The Lion King, which took place Sunday night. The ladies came to the event with their respective hubbies, Prince Harry and Jay Z.
They met hugged and shared some conversations.
Beyoncé wore a custom gold pleated gown with a thigh-high slit by Cong Tri.
While Meghan has walked plenty of red carpets as an actress, Sunday marked her first film premiere as a royal. Meghan opted for a slightly black flayed dress with sheer sleeves and sheer panelling across her décolletage. According to The Daily Mail, the dress was designed by Jason Wu.
She and Harry left 2-month-old son Archie at home for the night out, where they also had run-ins with several cast members.
The royal couple also had the chance to chat with representatives from organisations doing ground-breaking work for conservation and the environment.
The royals shared their Sunday night experience on their official Instagram page, announcing Disney’s commitment global conservation campaign. The post also stated that “Disney made a donation to The Duke of Sussex’s upcoming environment & community initiative which will be formally announced this autumn.”
