Morgan Freeman made his acting debut at age nine, playing the lead role in a school play. The operation lasted four hours because the crash damaged his nerves, arm, and shoulder. Unfortunately, after the surgery, he stated that he was left-handed. He mentioned that he could not move his left-hand fingers, and since then, he has worn a glove called the compression glove.
Meyer, his passenger, charged him for negligence. She claimed that he drank the night of the accident. But afterward, they settled.
