The British actress, fondly called MBB, celebrated her 18th birthday on 19 February 2022. She turned up in a blonde wig and corset dress to announce her entry into adulthood along with her boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi.

They had made their relationship official back in November 2021 with a photo of them kissing while on the famous London Eye.
In a celebratory mood, Brown had captioned the photos: “hey ken!” and added a cake emoji. Her boyfriend, son of the ace musician and songwriter Jon Bon Jovi, had also matched her vibe. “Ur rly pretty,” he wrote in the comment section, in social media speak, before reposting the photos on his own page and wishing her happy birthday.
Like Millie Bobby Brown herself has said, people often think she is much older than she really is because of how early she started appearing on screen. “Or I wear high heels. Or I wear an outfit to an award show, and they’re like, ‘She looks 50.’ No, it’s because you’ve watched me since I was 10. That’s why you think that,” she explained to MTV News when she was talking about reactions she got from the public over her style.

The teenage actress was born with a hearing impairment in one of her ears, and it slowly grew worse until the ear became completely deaf. This fact is remarkable because she started chasing her career in entertainment as a singer. According to her, “You don’t have to be good at singing. You don’t have to be good at dancing or acting. If you like to do it….” She wears a hearing aid on occasion.

2. Before she turned 8, her family had moved to three different countries.
While she is British by heritage, Millie Bobby Brown was actually born in Marbella, Spain. She spent her toddler years there before her family moved back to England to live in Bournemouth. They had to move to the United States again when the young actress started showing her talent. They decided to settle in Orlando, Florida, to be as close to Los Angeles as possible to give her a shot at success. Needless to say, the decision paid off.
3. Millie Bobby Brown deleted her Twitter account because of trolling.
The fact that this happened when she was only 14 is equally disgusting! In 2018, a-year-old hashtag #TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown eventually forced the actress off Twitter. The hashtag had started after an unverified story of her asking a woman to take off her hijab and allegedly trying to forcefully remove it made rounds online. The story claimed that the woman had asked Brown for a photo and that she had refused unless the woman took off her hijab. Since then, the actress has chosen to stick with Instagram. Although, she has a fan account on Twitter.

Millie started acting at the age of 9 with her appearance as a young Alice in two episodes of the fantasy-drama series Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, being her first official role. Then, she appeared as a guest in other notable TV series such as Intruders (2014), NCIS (2014), Modern Family (2015), and Grey’s Anatomy (2015). Of course, these TV roles led to her getting to play the now-iconic Eleven in Stranger Things, and the rest is history!
