The tragic news was broke on social by a user who wants the pictures shared to help trace the relations of the baby.
The Facebook user wrote:
“This baby is now lying in Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital Lafia. She lost her parents in a car accident yesterday. The New Nyanya Bus left Nyanya Park and had an accident along Lafia Makurdi road around 4 pm. Please share until this information gets to those who know the baby or family.”
We are unable to confirm whether the relations of the young babies have been identified. A commenter on the post, however, pointed out that the transport operator usually keeps manifestoes of travelling passengers that includes records of the nearest next-of-kin.
What a tragic thing to happen to anyone much less to such a helpless baby. We wish the baby well.
