Social media giant Facebook faces another law suit

The District of Columbia has fired the most recent legitimate shots against Facebook with a lawsuit seeking to correct by punishing the company organisation for permitting data-mining firm Cambridge Analytica to inappropriately get to data from upwards of 87 million users.

The objection documented Wednesday by Washington, D.C., Attorney General Karl Racine affirms that Facebook misdirected users about the security of their data and fizzled for years to appropriately monitor outsider applications.

“We’re seeking to hold Facebook accountable for jeopardising and exposing the personal information of tens of millions of its users,” Racine said. “We hope this lawsuit will ensure Facebook takes better care with its data.”

Facebook said it’s reviewing the objection and will keep on holding dialogs with Racine and attorneys general scattered the nation over who have raised red banners about the organisation’s mishandling of personal information. The lawsuit is the most recent hit to the company in a year affected with privacy scandals and other issues for the world’s greatest interpersonal organisation.
