Philip Igbinijesu, the convener and senior pastor of World Assembly, with headquarters in Lagos, has declared that any member without his or her voter’s card will not be allowed to partake in the church’s Holy Communion.

He reportedly emphasised this position during the Easter service where he declared that Nigerians must be well armed with their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) so as to vote in incredible leaders in 2019.

The pastor was quoted by a member of the Church as describing any member who fails to go for his PVC as an enemy of Nigeria, adding that the situation of things in the country demands practical approach from believers besides prayers. Hence the need to end misrule in Nigeria through the power of the voter’s card.
