The police spokesman in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect was arrested on 29 December 2017 in front of the Moshood Abiola International Stadium, Abeokuta.
Oyeyemi also revealed that the police were able to effect the arrest following a tip-off received by officials of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) that some hoodlums are engaged in importing hard drugs from the Benin Republic into Ogun State, were in town.
