As part of the roundup for the year, Google has, as usual, released the top trends for the year 2019 . ASUU strike, AFCON 2019, and music star, Naira Marley topped the list for the top new searches of the year. Naira Marley also made it to the top of the top trending people list, followed by Atiku.
Sitting on top of the list for top actors is Regina Daniels , with Genevieve Nnaji and Tonto Dikeh taking the next two spots.
Wizkid ‘s Joro was the top trending song this year, followed by Burna Boy’s Anybody and Beyonce and Wizkid’s Brown Skin Girl.
