It is another tragic story that once again brought to spotlight the deplorable state of the nation’s health care system
First, the deceased was denied a bed space at LUTH as the hospital could not accommodate him and when eventually a bed space available, there was no consultant to attend to him. The result? A dead body.
Twitter user Somachi ChrisAsoluka (@SomaKudi) narrated the sad news on the social media platform in a series of tweets in which she appears to question the apparent docility of Nigerians in the face difficulties. She casts aspersions on the challenges of living in Nigeria and notes it’s “impossible to escape the hopelessness of Nigeria.”
