A 6-year-old boy from Georgia, USA, named Blake had the opportunity to create any shirt he wanted for the first day of school. He opted for one to let so kids who are bullied know they have a friend in him.
Blake’s mom, Nikki Rajahn, shared the heartwarming story on Facebook.
Nikki has recently started her own small business, Unfading Adornments. She makes and sells apparel and home goods with personalised sayings and so wanted to make Blake any shirt he wanted as a back-to-school gift.
“It could have anything- a basketball theme, football, etc. which are all his favourites,” says Nikki in a Facebook post on Unfading Adornments page.
After thinking about it, Blake asks: “Will you please make me a shirt that says ‘I will be your friend’ for all the kids who need a friend to know that I am here for them?”
“Never underestimate your kid’s heart for others! I love my sweet Blake!” writes the proud momma in the post, which has since gone viral.
