The Governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose, tweeted the above picture this morning about an arrest of some herdsmen who had led their cattle to destroy farmlands of residents.
Rampages of herdsmen had been the order of the day all year round from, kidnapping to murder to rape and as it has been his watchword, Fayose has always pointed out that he will never standby to allow them come into his State to trample on his people.
Thanks to men of the Ekiti State Anti-Grazing Marshall that arrested these herdsmen that led their cows to destroy farms in Ijero Ekiti on Thursday. Here in Ekiti, we will continue to protect our farmers. If you are interested in cattle farming, get a ranch. pic.twitter.com/5MJp4qig4w
