When we said there was a celebrity who went back to his roots for one of his outfits this week, we meant Mawuli Gavor. Although the actor is Ghanaian, he is beloved by Nigerians because of his looks and for his superior acting prowess.
We think something that may also count for him is his impeccable style. Mawuli Gavor never dresses badly, and for this look, he didn’t disappoint.
He wore the traditional Ghanaian kente to host the African Royalty Night. He accessorized with beads around his neck and wrists. Don’t miss the sunglasses that give this outfit that pop of modern fashion.

2. Toke Makinwa:
Toke Makinwa slayed to the premiere of REDTV’s Assistant Madans in a simple look that was everything.
Toke Makinwa is a constant on our list because her fashion choices, no matter how muted or extravagant they are, are always perfect.
This look is no exception. She wore a straight, wine-coloured, calf-length dress with puffy sleeves to the premiere. Toke accessorized very simply with only a wristwatch and a bracelet, styling her hair in a chic bob to show off her gorgeous shoulders.
Her gold sandals were simple enough to compliment the look without drawing too much attention away from her dress.

3. Denola Grey:
Denola Grey attended a family lunch for his mom’s birthday in a casual look that somehow managed to be extra. The kicker is that the dress code was ‘super casual’.
With that shirt and those black, spiked sandals, who would believe that he was going for casual?
If he was going for serious-looking though, we think he nailed it with those glasses.

4. Diane Russet:
We love a confident and gorgeous woman, and that’s the vibe we’re getting from this picture by BBNaija’s Diane Russet.
Short bobs are in this season, it appears, and in this picture, the reality TV star rocked the heck out of it. She styled it with a cute pink dress, black heels, and a power walk.
