President Donald Trump of the United State of America has said that he will suspend immigration to the United States.

He stated this in a tweet on Tuesday morning, pointing out that it was to protect the country from an “invisible enemy”.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, President Trump writes: “In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!”

The move “had been under consideration for a while,” a senior administration official told NBC News.

According to the Vanguard, The official said that although Trump believes the U.S. is winning the fight against the Coronavirus, he also thinks it is important to make every effort to get ahead and protect the borders to prevent further spread.
