The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), last night announced an additional five new cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria bringing the total number of Coronavirus infection in the country to 214.
According to the NCDC, the new cases were recorded in Bauchi (3) and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja (2).
It is also instructive that Saturday 4 April 2020 was the first day that a new infection has not been reported for Lagos since NCDC began reporting infections.
“Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 3 in Bauchi and 2 in the FCT,” the NCDC tweets.
“As at 10:10 pm 4th April, there are 214 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-five have been discharged with four deaths,” the tweet adds.

So currently, Nigeria has 185 active cases of Coronavirus infections.
