Coronavirus Update Nigeria: Total hits 9,302 as 387 new cases are reported

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 387 new coronavirus infections were recorded in Nigeria on Friday, 29 May 2020.

The NCDC reported this during its nightly coronavirus in Nigeria in Nigeria update.

According to the NCDC, the total number of coronavirus infections in Nigeria now stands at 9,302. Of this number, 261 have died from COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, known formally as SARS-Cov-2 while 2,697 people have recovered and been discharged from isolation centres across the country. Hence, the active cases in the country now stand at 6,344.
