Coronavirus Nigeria update: 204 new cases recorded as total hits 1,932

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says 204 new cases of coronavirus, which is the COVID-19 pandemic, have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

NCDC also announced that seven more casualties were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 58.

Kano state recorded 80 new cases while Lagos state recorded 45 new cases, bringing the state closer to the 1000 mark with a total of 976 cases recorded in the state.

For the first time since the outbreak of the virus in Nigeria, a state has recorded more cases in a single day than Lagos State, the epic centre of the virus in Nigeria.

According to the NCDC, 71% of the recorded cases in the country are from three states: Lagos, Kano and Abuja.
