The daily updates are shared at the end of every day on NCDC’s official Twitter account. According to the most recent report, 296 new cases have been recorded in Nigeria.
Plateau State recorded the highest number of cases with 85 new cases. Enugu follows with 46 new cases, while Oyo State is next with 31 new cases.
Lagos State comes after Oyo State with 21 new cases. This is coming as the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi confirmed that, indeed, COVID-19 is now on its downward surge in the state.
So our observation is that Lagos have past the worst of the pandemic, it has past the peak of the pandemic and is now on the flattening stage and over time will experience a down slope of the virus then the end of #COVID19#ForAGreaterLagos #COVID19Lagos#COVID19Heroes

Unfortunately, an additional person succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths from Coronavirus to 1011.
