The cases of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria, which is popularly known as Coronavirus keeps jumping the numbers as new cases are discovered almost daily.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Nigeria has recorded a total of 81 cases at 11:55 pm on 27th March 2020.
Earlier in the evening, at 8:00 pm, 5 new cases were discovered. However, the additional 11 cases announced at 11:55 pm, 16 new Coronavirus cases have now been recorded on Friday, 27 March 2020, the highest on any single day in Nigeria so far.
NCDC tweeted the information while giving an update on the spread of the novel Coronavirus in Nigeria.
