Coronavirus: 22 new cases confirmed in Nigeria, Total cases hit 276

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced twenty-two new cases of the Coronavirus in Nigeria, which were recorded in Lagos, Abuja, Edo and Bauchi state.

The NCDC said that 15 of the new cases were confirmed in Lagos, four in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, two in Bauchi, and one in Edo state. This was made known to Nigerians at 09:00 pm on Wednesday, 8 April 2020.

With the new cases discovered, the total number of the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria has skyrocketed to 276.

Twenty-two new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 15 in Lagos, 4 in the FCT, 2 in Bauchi, 1 in Edo As at 09:00 pm 8th April there are 276 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Forty-four have been discharged with six deaths,” the NCDC writes on their official Twitter handle.
