Police have arrested one man in connection with the incident in Lower Manhattan near the World Trade Center
The driver of the truck drove into a bike path and killed ‘several’ people and injuring ‘numerous’ others, reports said. The FBI has agents on the ground working on the scene and a bomb squad was examining the truck for possible explosive devices. All witnesses agreed in differing comments that the driver of the truck after driving into the people jumped down from the vehicle and ran about shooting a gun.
Other clues are being gathered on the scene.
