Davido cheating on Chioma?
On 28 February 2021, Nigerian Twitter users were talking about Chioma after her fiancee Davido was spotted holding the hands of another woman while on vacation.
The woman was identified as a popular Instagram model known as Mya Yafai according to several gossip blogs. There are claims that Yafai and the Nigerian superstar have been on vacation together in Sint Maarten, in the Caribbean. Mya Yafai had previously dated American rapper Young M.A.
Earlier, Davido had tweeted about being on the Sint Maarten Island hours before the video surfaced online. Neither he nor Chioma responded to the controversy, leaving people to blindly draw their own conclusions.

Also, this past week, the reason for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West divorce has finally been revealed to be ‘irreconcilable differences’. This new information came to light after the press became privy to the couple’s divorce papers.
In addition to the reason, it also revealed that they had a prenuptial agreement that will see them retain their assets and properties respectively. Thus, neither of them will get spousal support. Also, they will have joint and legal custody of their four children — North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 1. According to the divorce papers, Kim and Kanye seem to be going through an amicable divorce.
T.I and Tiny respond to allegations
American rapper T.I and his wife Tiny Harris have both denied allegations that they drugged and trafficked young women for sex. According to a statement from their lawyer, they said the allegations were baseless and a shakedown.
Recall that about fifteen women have come out to accuse the celebrity couple of coercing them into compromising sexual situations involving drugs and money. It all began with the couple’s estranged friend Sabrina Peterson making the first allegations and then compiling a series of messages she claimed she received from alleged victims on Instagram.

Sadiq Daba passes away
The Nigerian entertainment industry witnessed two deaths this past week as legendary actor Sadiq Daba succumbed to leukemia and prostate cancer while iconic music producer Dokta Frabz died of gunshot wounds.
The actor had started his career in the late 1970s, starring in Cockcrow at Dawn among other movies. He became more popular after featuring in Kunle Afolayan’s October 1st movie where he played the role of “Inspector Waziri” and won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor for the role.
He had been struggling with leukemia and prostate cancer since 2017 and after a fundraiser was started for him, Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola agreed to pick his medical bill. He flew him to the UK for treatment. Sadly, Daba has now passed away.
On Dokta Frabz’s death
Dokta Frabz, whose real name is Ayorinde Faboro, is considered one of the pioneers in sound engineering in the Nigerian music industry. He produced songs for the late Dagrin, Wizkid, D’banj and many more. According to reports, he was shot in the US. See tributes from people in the music industry.
Chimamanda loses mother
Nigerian writer Chimamanda Adichie also lost her mum barely eight months after her father’s demise. According to a report by The Guardian, Mrs Adichie died suddenly on Monday, 1 March 2021 in Awka, Anambra State.
In June 2020, Adichie’s father, an erudite academic, passed away after he had been admitted at the Chira Memorial Hospital in Anambra state. The prolific writer, Chimamanda Adichie is yet to make a public statement on her mother’s passing.

Highlights from the Golden Globes award
Schitt’s Creek and The Crown Television series enjoyed an impressive outing at the Golden Globes award held on Sunday, 28 February 2021 in the Television category while “Nomadland” and “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” were some of the best performing films of the night.
Netflix production studio claimed more than half of the television awards on the night. Josh O’Connor won Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series (Drama) for “The Crown” and Emma Corrin, from the same show, won Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series.
