Orenthal James Simpson was born on 9 July 1947 in California with the nickname Juice. He is an American former football player, actor, advertising spokesman, and broadcaster. His father later announced that he was not straight and eventually died of AIDS in 1886. Simpson eventually retired from football and pursued a football broadcasting and acting career. Simpson was arrested and charged with the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, in 1994. She was with her friend, Ron Goldman, in front of Nicole’s condo. The victims’ families filed a lawsuit against Simpson. He moved to Miami in 2000 to avoid the charges.

A civil court charged Simpson $33.5 million in 1997 for the wrongful deaths of Nicole and her friend. Simpson was later arrested in Las Vegas and accused of kidnapping and armed robbery. In 1979, O.J. started dating Nicole Brown while she worked in a nightclub as a waitress. He started dating her, although he was still married to his first wife. He divorced Marguerite in 1979 and got married to Nicole in February 1985.

Five years after he retired from football, they had two children: Justin and Sydney Simpson. The union lasted for seven years before Nicole filed for divorce from Simpson. On 12 June 1994, some persons found Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown stabbed outside Nicole’s house in Los Angeles. Simpson was the suspect, and he didn’t turn himself in. In June, Simpson was riding a car with his friend AL Cowlings; police officers pursued the vehicle and arrested Simpson. In 2001, the cops arrested Simpson in Florida for burgling a conveyance and yanking off a motorist’s glasses during a tragic dispute. If the court had convicted Simpson, he would have served sixteen years in prison. Simpson was tried and acquitted of both charges.

In December 2001, the FBI searched Simpson’s home. They suspected he owned ecstasy, and he was involved in money laundering. Some persons hinted to the FBI that Simpson was involved in drug trafficking. The FBI scoured his home but didn’t discover any illegal drugs. They did not arrest him or charge him after the search.

A satellite network DirecTV accused Simpson of using illegal devices to copy broadcast signals. The company won the case, thereby charging Simpson $33,678.
