He divorced Marguerite in 1979 and got married to Nicole in February 1985.

Five years after he retired from football, they had two children: Justin and Sydney Simpson. The union lasted for seven years before Nicole filed for divorce from Simpson. On 12 June 1994, some persons found Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown stabbed outside Nicole’s house in Los Angeles. In 2001, the cops arrested Simpson in Florida for burgling a conveyance and yanking off a motorist’s glasses during a tragic dispute. If the court had convicted Simpson, he would have served sixteen years in prison. Simpson was tried and acquitted of both charges.

In December 2001, the FBI searched Simpson’s home. They suspected he owned ecstasy, and he was involved in money laundering. Some persons hinted to the FBI that Simpson was involved in drug trafficking. The FBI scoured his home but didn’t discover any illegal drugs. They did not arrest him or charge him after the search.
