Torres reminisced about playing alongside Iniesta at the age of 15 adding that it was a pleasure to see his longtime friend.
The two met in a contest between their new club sides, one that ended with Torres’ side Sagan Tosu beating Iniesta’s Vissel Kobe 3-0.
He posted a picture of the pair reunited in Japan, one of them in Spain and then another of the two legends lifting trophies at their boyhood clubs with the caption:
“Football leaves you these good moments, we started playing together at 15 years old in the national team,’
“We have shared some of the best moments in our careers and today we return to see each other in Japan. Always a pleasure to see you my friend, Andres Iniesta”.
