Ugandan musician, Cindy Sanyu has blasted Omah Lay, calling him an “idiot” for posting about how successful the concert he had in Uganda was.
According to her, her colleagues are “starving” and “broke” due to the COVID-19 lockdown rules in her country yet foreign artistes are recording huge turnouts for concerts within the country.
Omah Lay and Tems were arrested together on Sunday, December 13, along side their managers for holding a concert at Ddungu resort in Munyonyo while the country is on lockdown.
The duo were remanded in different prisons till Wednesday, December 16, following their court arraignment at the Makindye Division court in Kampala on Monday.
Reacting to the situation social media, Uganda singer Cindy Sanyu, in a recorded video while in her car, called Omah Lay an idiot as she claimed she and her fellow Ugandan artists have remained calm, obeying the strict COVID-19 rules after their government banned music concert on the country.
She also claimed that some of her colleagues are currently starving, sick, and broke because of the strict lockdown rules and yet singer Omah Lay posted about his successful concert in Uganda.
