His agent, Dimitry Seluk made this known via a tweet: “Yaya has passed a medical in London. Yaya is close to signing a new contract.”
Seluk has also shut down speculations that the midfielder may be heading to Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham having worked with the coach at City, saying that his client is a “Champion” and “the last place is not for him.”
