World Cup matchday 11 recap: Draw for Senegal and Japan as England and Colombia come out ontop

Harry Kane became the 3rd English player to score a world cup hat-trick. A brace from John stones and a beautiful curler goal from Jesse Lingard also contributed to the downfall of Panama.

Despite how terrible the Panama defeat might sound they managed to get their first World Cup goal off of a wonderful 78th-minute strike from Felipe Baloy.

Senegal and Japan split points in a 2-2 draw. The African side continues to show that they are a strong and worthy opponent through their impressive display of talent.

Senegal took the lead in the 11th minute and were dominant until Takakshi Inuni curled one inside the goal from close range.

Senegal again took the lead in the 71st minute from a goal by Wague but super sub, Keisuke Honda punished Senegal after a bad clearance by goalkeeper Khadim N’Diaye.

Both teams now have 4 points each as they prepare for their final matches of the group stage.

Liverpool player, Sadio Mane claimed the man of the match award after an impressive performance and a goal to his name.

Colombia dominated Poland in a 3-0 defeat. The polish simply had no answer to the combination of Radamel Falcao, James Rodriguez and Juan Cuadrado who were in one way or another involved in all the goals.

Yerry Mina, Falcao (scoring his first World Cup goal) and Cuadrado, all registered their names on the score sheet.

A well-deserved win after a beautiful display of footballing.
