For the third time in a row Real Madrid manager, Julen Lopetegui has picked Keylor Navas ahead of Thibault Courtois.Keylor Navas and Courtois during training
The Costa Rican has not let Madrid down in any of these occasions keeping a clean sheet against Getafe and putting up an exceptional second-half performance against Girona.
Lopetegui seems to like having the Veteran in goal and one starts to wonder if Thibault Courtois made the right decision leaving Chelsea.
Eventually, Lopetegui will have to try his £35 million signing out but it is becoming doubtful that Courtois will be able to take Navas’ place as first choice of the Los Blancos.

After Madrid’s 4-1 win over Girona Lopetegui had this to say:
“We backed Keylor and the truth is that he has done very well,”
“We will see what happens in the future, there is a lot of competition for all places.”
