Why Britney Spears has been posting her topless photos

Britney Spears has been in the news for several reasons unrelated to her singing and her topless photos appearing on her Instagram page caused worry among fans. Why is the 39-year-old sharing her own nude photos?

Britney Spears explained that she chose to post her nude photos online because she now sees herself differently. “I wanted to see myself in a lighter way … like the way I was born,” the “Baby One More Time” crooner wrote.

Before she penned the explanation, the worry had been that the photos were posted without her permission. This panic stemmed from the fact that the conservatorship she had been under since 2008 allowed others apart from herself control over her social media accounts.

Despite some heaving a sigh of relief that the singer was not being exploited further, some people still suspect that she is not posting the photos herself. Besides the conservatorship, there were rumours that the mother of 2 was pregnant or had surgery to enhance her b__bs. These two were what she first tackled in her opening statement.

“No guys… I didn’t get a b__b job in just a week … nor am I pregnant … I have b__bs in these pics cause I devoured food,” Britney Spears wrote in the caption of her topless photos.

In addition, she mentioned that she hoped that by posting these sensational photos, the ‘twisted’ reactions to a woman shedding ‘a layer’ will change. She further wrote, “I am a woman … a beautiful … sensitive woman who needs to look at myself in my purest form !!!”

However, you should not expect more Britney Spears topless photos as the singer has said that she does not plan to keep posting them for the rest of her life. For now, Spears has not hinted at when fans are to expect new music from her. Likely, she is waiting for the judgement on the 26 July 2021 petition seeking to remove her father, Jamie Spears, as conservator of her estate and to replace him with Jason Rubin, a Certified Public Accountant at Certified Strategies Inc.
