The movie, which is in its final stages of production is expected to show in select cinemas in March. Adapted from a book of the same name by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer, the film stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lilly Banda and Maxwell Simba, among others.
The movie follows a Malawian boy who comes up with an ingenious way to save his family and his villagers from famine.
