Anakle Films has released the trailer for their upcoming film, titled Fishbone.

The film was produced in association with the US Embassy in Nigeria.

Fishbone is a dark investigative thriller that tells the important story of counterfeiting, and of selling fake drugs to unsuspecting people living in the poorest areas of Lagos.

In the 67 seconds trailer released on Thursday, we hear a voice (belonging to a prosecutor) describe the difficulties he is facing tracking a criminal, including not being able to keep in custody those arrested due to “orders from above.”

So children died right here in this hospital,” the voice says. “Your hands are soaked with the blood of the innocent.”

The trailer ends with the voice asking, “What kind of devil are you?” With a woman (Shaffy Bello) presumably, the villain, sending up smoke up in the air with a nonchalant grin as the prosecutor (Daniel Etim Effiong – the voice owner) walks away.

Fishbone stars Daniel Etim Effiong, Shaffy Bello, Kehinde Bankole, Moshood Fattah, and more.
