A standout of the two-minute trailer is the two new characters which were added. Since the release, social media users have speculated that one of the new additions is Elsa’s same-sex partner.
Fans had launched a petition following the first movie, calling for Disney to make Elsa Gay with the hashtag #MakeElsaGay.
The film is directed by Jennifer Lee, Chris Buck and Peter Del Vecho, both Academy award-winning directors. It also features the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad.
