Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has shared a clip of the moment she met Beyonce at the European The Lion King premiere held Sunday night in London.

Fans only became aware of the Johnny singer’s involvement in the production of the highly anticipated film, The Lion King, after Beyonce shared the tracklist of her new curated album, The Lion King: The Gift. Yemi Alade’s name is on that album list of artists and she and Beyonce even featured on a track titled, My Power, which also features Tierra Whack, Busiswa and Moonchild Sanelly.

Judging from Yemi Alade’s caption of the video she uploaded on the gram, it looks like that was the first she is meeting face-to-face with Beyonce. This makes us think that maybe artists recorded their parts of the song in the My Power track separately. She wouldn’t be the only one to do so, Donald Glover, who also stars in the The Lion King had revealed he requested to record his part of their song separately, for reasons relating to being in too much of awe fo the artist.
