He visited the country with Kim Kardashian and North West in order to sample some African music for his album Yandhi. He has met up with the Ugandan president and even gifted him sneakers.
In a new show of kindness, he handed out gifts in the form of Yeezy sneakers to some kids at a charity event in Masulita, Uganda. Kanye reportedly sought permission from the Ugandan president to fly his personal chopper from Chobe for the event.
The kids reportedly got very excited upon sighting Kanye West and his family, even singing songs for them upon their arrival.
