Game of Throne is an American fantasy drama television series that follows the lives of royal families caught in a web of greed, lust, violence and death. It is set in the series is set in the fictional kingdom of Westeros and is based on a series of fantasy novels A Song of Ice and Fire, written by George R. R. Martin. The series premiered on HBO in the United States on April 17, 2011, and its sixth season ended on June 26, 2016. The seventh series just premiered Sunday, while the entire series will conclude with its eighth season in 2018 or 2019.
