Before that though, the pre-Grammys gala saw a ton of singers perform to the delight of their fans in attendance at the event.
Ahead of the main show, Burna Boy, who bagged a nomination in the Best World Music category for his well-received album, ‘African Giant’, performed at the pre-Grammys show.
The singer performed his songs at the show, including his hit single, ‘Killin Dem’, in which he featured Zlatan. Other celebrities spotted at the event include Billie Eilish, Lil Nas, Bebe Rexha, Wiz Khalifa, Kehlani, JoJo, and Lizzo.
Ahead of the show at Staples Center, Los Angeles, California, Nigerians have taken to social media to show their support for the singer, with many threatening to ‘cancel’ the Grammys if the African Giant does not win the award.
