Beyonce and Jay-Z won the Best International Group at the 2019 Brits Awards and the couple decided to recreate Apes**t video with a tribute to Meghan Markle.

They achieved this while accepting their award at the ceremony and went further to send a video message to the British royal.

The Carters were dressed in colourful suits similar to the ones they wore in the Apes**t music video. Standing in front of an oil painting of Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex instead of the Mona Lisa the couple made their speech.

“Thank you so much to the BRIT Awards for this incredible honour; you guys have always been so supportive. Everything is love,” said Beyonce, before the pair turned around to face the portrait of Meghan.

In a longer statement. Beyonce took to her Instagram and gave Meghan Markle a shoutout:

“Thank you to the Brits for the award for Best International Group. I won this award back in 2002 with my besties, Kelly and Michelle. How lucky am I to have been in a group with my other best friend, the GOAT Hova. In honour of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.”
