Virgil Abloh is launching his own brand starting with a jewellery collection inspired by paper clips.
The designer, who is famous for his sportswear at Off-White, will unveil a pop-up store at Hôtel Costes on the 17th to 29th January to coincide with the men’s ready-to-wear and women’s couture shows in Paris.
Abloh shared a preview on his Instagram page, featuring two images - one of himself wearing one of the necklaces, and another of the brand’s packaging.

According to WWD, the range will also be shown alongside new trainer and handbag designs for Off-White. Abloh revealed that the pop-up will also sell bouquets of his favourite flowers.
“It’s a necklace, there’s earrings, there’s an accessory,” Abloh said of his jewellery collection. “The idea is like high jewellery for all. It’s a crash - it’s a paper clip, but it’s also pavé diamonds made in a very specific way.”
The collection will be available to buy via pre-orders. In addition to Abloh’s work at Off-White, Louis Vuitton hired him as new menswear creative director in March 2018. He has collaborated with names such as Ikea, Umbro and Jimmy Choo.
