Kenyan singer and songwriter Victoria Kimani has issued a public apology to Tiwa Savage for shading her on Instagram as well as in a song.

On Wednesday, 3 April, Kimani released her #fvckyouchallenge cover and she heavily shaded Ycee and Tiwa Savage in the song. She alleged that Ycee stole her lyrics for his hit song, Juice. She also slut-shamed and age-shamed Tiwa Savage, singing:

Grandma African bad gyal, turning 45 and still claiming you’re a bad girl. You can block me from a show but you can’t block my blessings. We all know you selling pu*ssy and it’s so depressing.”

Social media users attacked and celebrities like Toke Makinwa joined in to speak on the matter. She has now shared a public apology to Tiwa Savage, although she said there are some things she will never apologize for.
