According to Daily Mail, Anichebe has been in a dispute with his club for over a year. He claims he was told by the coach “not to try” on two occasions and when he tried to find out why his teammates told him that there was nothing to be done.
“This is China, we do as we’re told.” his teammates reportedly told him.
He had reportedly contacted sports lawyer Chris Farnell for legal advise and all attempts to plead with Beijing Enterprises proved futile.
