The producers of the James Bond movie franchise  – Universal Pictures – have announced a new production and release dates for the highly anticipated 25th James Bond movie, Bond 25.

The announcement, made on the 007 official website states that the official date for production has now been moved to 4 March 2019, while the Bond 25 movie will now be released worldwide on 14 February 2020.

The movie which was originally billed for release in 2019 suffered some setbacks due to its longtime director, Danny Boyle, quitting in August. Danny has since been replaced by Cary Joji Fukunaga.

The new Bond 25 will be shot digitally at the Pinewood Studios just like the 2012 Bond movie, Skyfall.
